Our last week in LA. Where to go? What to do? We went to have one last look of the whales in Malibu, one last french toast in Aroma Cafe and say goodbye to the City from the observation deck in US Bank Tower
Im going to miss you City of Stars….
The journey doesn’t end here. Check WWW.INLUGANO.COM to see our new adventures in Switzerland
I’ve already visited SF years ago but I wanted to refresh my memory of this beautiful city. And I had to do it only in 1 day.
stop number 1: Pier 39
I could have not missed that (smells exactly the same as I remember)
stop number 2: Coit tower
Walk from Pier 39 to Coat tower. On the way have a look on Lombard St. .
stop number 3: Lift to Filmore. Shopping and lunch i Hayes valley
stop number 4: Lyft to Alamo square to see the Painted ladies
stop number 5: Lyft to Castro
stop number 6: Golden gate
stop number 7: airport and back to LA. What a marvellous day.
Its a must. What else is there to say
Driving straight to San Diego with a baby didn’t seem like a good idea so we stayed in Carlsbad for the night. And I’m happy we did. Such an easygoing place. I swear i haven’t met so many nice people anywhere!! Loved it
We enjoyed our stay in Beach Terrace Inn. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Honestly, LA deserves better. (not even mentioning the animals)
I love rollercoasters! Living in LA I didn’t want to wait another 10 years to be able to go there with my son so one sunny day me and my husband went there by ourselves.
After the whole day riding all the “scary” coasters I have to say that in 10 years I will probably pay someone to go there with my son.
There are two beaches. The one you access from the main parking area is the South beach and only short hike away is the dog friendly North beach. In between them there is a rocky area known as Sequit Point which has tide pools.
Malibu lagoon is where Malibu Creek meets the ocean. From the parking lot the path leads you through wetlands (we’ve seen a lot of bird watchers on our way)
to the Surfrider beach on your left. You can see the Malibu pier from there.
If your curious how the rich lives after the wetlands turn right and check the amazing beach houses
