Our last week in LA. Where to go? What to do? We went to have one last look of the whales in Malibu, one last french toast in Aroma Cafe and say goodbye to the City from the observation deck in US Bank Tower
Im going to miss you City of Stars….
The journey doesn’t end here. Check WWW.INLUGANO.COM to see our new adventures in Switzerland
Honestly, LA deserves better. (not even mentioning the animals)
What a place! Too big to see it in one day, bit pricey (adult admission is 25 dollars, compare with Descanso gardens adult admission 9 dollars) but still worth to visit. At least once.
My favourite part is the Japanese garden.
If you are with kids you must visit the Brady botanical centre and children’s garden
The arboretum is so big that we didnt have time to finish it. But we will be back to see the rest! Its a beautiful walk with stroller.
We even squeezed a little biology lesson into our walk. Pandas eat bamboo leaves.
This is the place to go with your out of town, out of the country visitors.
Start the day with a big breakfast in Back on the Beach Cafe so you have enough energy to walk to the pier and snap few instagram pictures.
I know i’m probably the only one but i don’t like this place at all. Super crowded, smelly, weird, noisy, cheesy, bit dangerous, overrated,.. the list goes on
Downtown LA deserves more than one afternoon trip. (as I did) And so for now i’m just saying “everything is very photogenic and feel a bit like we used a time machine”
I’ll be back soon with more specific post
I’m not a big fan of Griffith park but the observatory is a must. The views are just mesmerizing and give an hour to the observatory too
Don’t forget on your way down stop and have lunch in The Trails Cafe. With your little one too. They have high chairs, cute outdoor seating, great sandwiches and ice tees
